First of all welcome to The RPG Forge Community forums!
This document is designed as a small welcome and highlight of features and such of the forums to help you get the most out of things.
Features:
BBCODE:
(from phpbb website)
What is it?
BBCode is a special implementation of HTML. Whether you can actually use BBCode in your posts on the forum is determined by the administrator. In addition you can disable BBCode on a per post basis via the posting form. BBCode itself is similar in style to HTML, tags are enclosed in square brackets [ and ] rather than < and > and it offers greater control over what and how something is displayed. Depending on the template you are using you may find adding BBCode to your posts is made much easier through a clickable interface above the message area on the posting form. Even with this you may find the following guide useful.
Supported Commands:
Most should be obsolete with the introduction of the now inbuilt text editor. But we still have some commands that are of use.

HELP Forums
We have two types of forums here. Normal ones and the Help forums. Or rather the Help category! If you post a question or problem in the help category and someone answers you you will see the topic icon turn green to let you know there is a reply you have nor read. In the event you find the answer useful, simply hit the green "Mark as answer" button and you will see a green stripe letting people know you found that reply to contain the helpful information you were looking for, this helps others and if you as a replier get enough of them you win a badge!!
Yeh we have a few badges and......other things that but no point in spoiling everything is there?...
